I was at the official opening of Titanic Belfast yesterday to photograph the Queen’s Island Male Voice Choir on the grand staircase leading to the dining room on the 5th floor of the Titanic building. The staircase is a replica of the one on the ship itself and is a credit to the craftsmen who created it. The choir are performing a number of concerts leading up to and after the 100th anniversary of the Titanic sinking.
Sharon and Aaron met me at Botanic Gardens in Belfast for their pre-wedding portraits. I’m photographing their wedding day next July. Botanic Gardens is a great location for wedding and portrait photography and if you are having a wedding in Belfast it is a good stop off for your photo shoot. Here are a few of the portraits.
Mary and Stephen were married in Aghagallon just outside Moira and had their wedding reception in Riverdale. Riverdale is a lovely setting comprising of a huge lake with ducks and swans and accommodation comprising of various brick built barns. The venue was fantastic for wedding photography and I managed to get some great photographs in between showers. Here are a few photographs from the day.
I was off to Londonderry for the wedding of Claire and Kirk. It was a beautiful sunny day and after the ceremony we all went to the Hampstead Hall Gardens in the suburbs of Derry for the main wedding photography. It comprises a Japanese garden, and Italian garden, and a formal garden in front of a late Georgian house which was a fantastic backdrop for Claire and Kirk’s wedding photographs. The reception was held in the City Hotel Derry where I photographed the happy couple socializing with their guests. Here are a few photographs from their big day.
Pauline and Michael had their complete wedding day at La Mon Hotel & Country Club. After the wedding ceremony the rain started so we did some photographs inside but luckily the rain stopped for a while and we where able to use the hotel’s gardens. Here are a few photos from the day.
Lynda and Richard had great weather for their wedding day – so good Lynda’s dad, also called Richard, was able to drive his daughter the short distance from home to Hillsborough Parish church in a open top Morgan sports car. After the ceremony we all headed for the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel where the reception was held. Guests enjoyed the sunshine in the beer garden while we used the hotel’s extensive grounds to get some pictures of the bridal party and family. Here are some of the happy couple’s photographs.
I took some portrait photographs, using my portable studio, of Emma, Stephen, Katie and Summer. The studio kit allows me to photograph famlies in their own home so they don’t have to trek down to the studio. Home is also a familiar surrounding for children allowing for a more relaxed portrait sitting. Here are a few photographs and you can view them all in my client area.
Here are a few photographs of Lynda and Richard. I’m photographing their wedding on Wednesday at Hillsborough Parish Church and at a reception at the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel. Went to Hillsborough Forest Park with Ciara and Michael whose wedding I am photographing in September. It was a lovely sunny day and they’re both hoping the wedding day which is being held at Galgorm Manor is just as good. Here are a few of the photographs I took.
Just spent a lovely day with Bronagh & Mark who got married in St. Eugene’s Cathedral in Derry. The cathedral was a wonderful setting for their wedding. We then travelled over to County Donegal for the reception which was held in the beautiful Ballyliffin Lodge Hotel right beside the golden sands of Pollan Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Great photo opportunities all day and here are just a few.
